Series
Some ideas will not let go after one painting. They turn into a series, where each piece is another angle on the same question. This is where those collections live.
Aeromechanica
Creatures fitted with the airframes of real aircraft. Some carry RAF roundels, some Luftwaffe Balkenkreuze. A small WWII air war fought by birds, beetles, mosquitos, robber flies and hornets. Half engineering, half nonsense, all impractical.
Origin
The two watercolour blueprints came first. The painting built one of them.
